The international multi-topic conference IMTIC 2008 was held in Pakistan during April 11–12, 2008. Apart from the two-day main event, two workshops were also held: the Workshop on Creating Social Semantic Web 2.0 Information Spaces and the Workshop on Wireless Sensor Networks.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the First International Multi Topic Conference, IMTIC 2008, held in Jamshoro, Pakistan, in April 2008.

The 46 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 135 submissions. The topics include but are not limited to wireless sensor networks, satellite communication, grid computing, tracking, remote sensing, data mining, bioinformatics as well as legal and ethical issues in IT.
