Life is full of lessons, lessons learned not so much through what we have experienced as through the choices we made reacting to those experiences. This book is about the lessons I have learned as a dared to allow the secrets hidden deep within the recesses of my soul to surface, and be exposed to light. As they surfaced, I picked up my pen and began to write; and as I did the pent up emotions of long ago found release and the healing of my soul commenced. The release - some in poems, some in prose and some in brief stories, I now share with you at the encouragement of friends, in hopes that as you read, you may find the courage to allow the windows of your soul to open, allow the light in, and find healing for your soul.
