ABOUT THE BOOK: What if our bodies and minds lose the ability to handle stress? What happens next and what can be done about it? What if you realized that from the start of life, we are programmed to handle less stress as time goes on, just as when we are born cells replicate and die off and aging begins? This stress, though relative and individualistic, begins to "chip away" at who we are. We hear people say, "My job is just too stressful" or "My family situation is wearing me out" or "I just don't handle stress the way I used to." Why do we have such strong responses? This book discusses the difference in how we see ourselves and how we deal with life's changes. ------ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Kenny and his wife, Cathy, are both retired nurses.
