‘The Secret Science: The Huna Knowledge of the Cosmic Energy Field’ (Scholarly Articles, Vol. 19), 2017, is a scholarly article both for neophytes and professionals on the subject of the Huna knowledge of the cosmic energy field.The author first asks what the motivation might be to studying Huna at all and he comes to the conclusion that Huna is both a religion and a science, thus has prepared the path for the ultimate new age science that we now see emerging. The article elucidates that we have a heretic knowledge tradition also in our culture that did know and actively research about the cosmic energy field, as well as the human energy field. The author analyses the works of Carl-Gustav Jung, Paracelsus, Swedenborg, Mesmer, Reichenbach, Reich, Lakhovsky and Burr on the subject before he expands in detail about the Secret Science of the Kahunas, the natives of Hawaii.The analysis is actually stunning as it lets clearly appear that the Kahunas had long ago the knowledge about life we are now heading into through systems theory, quantum physics and discovery of the unified field. Hence, our ‘new science’ is a return to the oldest of sciences, as we have holistic knowledge traditions both in our own culture and in Huna and other native cultures that have all very old holistic science traditions.The article comes with a complete glossary and bibliography.
