The books in the THEMES ON DISPLAY series contain ideas for stimulus, interactive and table-top displays that involve and celebrate children's work. Each book will focus on five popular early years themes suitable for three to five year olds. There will be clear learning objectives and Early Learning Goals curriculum links for each display area. A main introduction to each book gives practical tips and information on areas such as mounting, lettering, using drapes and working in 3-D. Photocopiable pages at the end of each book will provide useful templates, lettering, borders and activities. The SEASONAL DISPLAYS will provide lots of lively interactive display ideas covering the themes of: The Four Seasons, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. The learning objectives of the displays will help young children to learn about the many different features of the seasons and will include making a birthday chart, creating a summer fete display, looking at Autumn leaves and producing a frosty weather display.
