This competence is even more crucial for those entrusted with the onerous responsibility of shaping and molding the minds of students and potential future leaders. Against this backdrop, it is the author's belief that teachers at all levels of the education enterprise need to become students of culture to enable them to add clarity, definition, and focus to their calling and profession.
