Emma was born in Bathgate, West Lothian, completed her MA Hons degree in French, Italian and Spanish at St Andrews before embarking on a teaching qualification at Glasgow University. She is currently working at Liberton High School, Edinburgh by day and teaches evening classes at Deans Community High School, Livingston by night where she offers Italian and Spanish to adult learners. In her free time, Emma enjoys violin playing and keeping fit whilst taking every opportunity available to travel abroad to discover new cultures and brush up on her language skills. Having built up a network of friends from all over the world, her options are endless
