"The Pain I Hide" consists of 30 different poems that lead up to my story about struggling with depression. Within this book, you will read about the different stages and emotions of depression. Being that this is a difficult topic to discuss, I didn't know how to tell someone what was going through also because I was still trying to understand it myself. I've always loved poetry so one day I decided to write a poem about how I was feeling which lead me to writing a book.
