What do you do when dark clouds of hopelessness are considered "normal" in your life? How do you carry on when your self-worth is constantly belittled and challenged? How do you adjust yourself when most of your life has been dominated by violence? Victims of domestic violence and child abuse have to face these dilemmas on a daily basis.I'm Tamar Swapsy, and by the grace of God, I survived domestic violence. I share my story to give hope to those of you who are currently in abusive situations. I want you to know that you don't have to remain there. You don't have to remain broken. Keep your head up, keep love in your heart, keep striving for better and remind yourself every day, "I Gotta Make It!"
