Divorce. It's one of the few things in life we are not prepared to experience. I don't think many people get married expecting, and therefore planning, for divorce. Marriage? We date. Pregnancy? We go to endless doctor appointments. School prepares us for college or work. Most of us go through at least a little training for our jobs. But divorce? Nothing. Until now... The Dumb Blonde's Guide to Divorce is for anyone going through or considering divorce. My parents divorced, yet most of what I "knew" about the legal system, I learned from television and movies. I wrote this book to give readers a short, concise, and easy-to-read understanding of what happens or can happen during a divorce. I want to pass along my experience, strength and hope to help others during, what was for me, the most emotionally devastating and fearful time of my life. In short, this book shares the dos and don'ts that I would tell my friends to make it easier for them than it was for me. And my wish for my readers is that they come out stronger on the other side.
