Dit boek bevat tien gemakkelijk leesbare korte verhalen om je kennis te laten maken met de Papiamentse taal, evenals vertalingen van deze verhalen naar het Engels en Nederlands.

Het doel van dit boek is om nieuwe leerlingen of beginners van de Papiamentse taal te ondersteunen bij het oefenen van lezen en het verwerven van nieuwe en eenvoudige woordenschat in deze taal. This book contains: ten easy-to-read short stories to introduce you to the Papiamentu language and a translation of these stories into English and Dutch.

The purpose of this book is to help new learners or beginners of the Papiamentu language to practice reading and learn new and simple vocabulary in this language. I have written these stories from my point of view as someone who grew up in the Antillean culture.

There are references to local food and local spots. But also the warmth and kindness, which represents most of the Caribbean people from Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.
