Dear reader, I’ll be frank, the last couple of years haven’t been easy on me. I lived abroad, picking the furthest place from my family I possibly could’ve. Then my father passed away – cancer – and I returned home to an unfamiliar place. This book has been my ‘little’ project; my dive into unwanted emotions, a description to a dark path of depression, self-harm and addiction. This book is quite literally the result of blood, sweat and tears. I’ve mixed these uncontrolled emotions with a touch of my passion for crime fiction. Truth be told, there are many layers to the fiction part which still require further detail and explanation. That is because I never intended for this to be a one-time journey. This character needs a trilogy, if not more, to resolve her issues or to fall down a darker hole. I hope you'll enjoy reading 'The London HERO' as much as I enjoyed writing it. Y.B?
