Due to the 2016 EU Referendum there had been a major ideological shift in the British political landscape and coming to the fore was a Member of Parliament like no other. Dale Semble was totally unique, and although he sat on the Opposition benches, not only did he have the Labour Party wrapped round his little finger, he terrified the Government of the day as well! This was far more than the sum total of ideologies and philosophies, because Dale Semble seemed to be the fulfilment of a kind of religious prophecy. So what chance did a mild mannered Patrick Emerald who later became the Minister of State at the MoD stand against this super skilled and utterly brilliant, Machiavellian master of the black arts? With the stakes so high, it would take far more than mere politics for Patrick not to fall under the spell of this 'Titan of Satanic genius!' The outcome of which would be beyond anybody's imagination!
