Three separate occurrences are apparently unconnected, the theft of Stinger rocket missiles from an Australian defence installation, the suspicions of a young woman in a storage depot in a northern Victorian town, and the disappearance of two young men from their Melbourne apartment.As the police and security services carry out separate investigations it is discovered these three events are intertwined, and relate to a planned terror attack that is the precursor to a coup d'état in an island state to the north of Australia. Knowing an attack is imminent, the authorities have limited time at their disposal and are hampered by the lack of definite information.
