This is the true story of two talented, young Swedish women who dared to dream of fashion success in Hollywood.
In 1967, a young woman from Sweden convinced her sister to move to the US with her to start a crochet clothing business from scratch. After an early, fortuitous meeting with Vogue, news spread quickly that young Mitan & Moni could create beautiful clothes. The two women embarked on a very successful three-and-a-half-year period, where they created custom garments for the cream of the crop in Hollywood at the time—Goldie Hawn, Diana Ross, Marlo Thomas, Patty Duke, Ann Margret, Sammy Davis Jr., and many more. This is the story of their California adventure!
