Each of us will leave something or someone at some point. You can decide now to lose your mind on the way out of the door or you can devise a plan that ensures you walk away whole. Leaving With My Marbles takes you through my journey to identify the tools that gave me the courage to walk away intact. Getting out with my essence meant I had to:

• Determine the traits I want to keep and create practices that make sure those things remain.
• Be introspective enough to see my strengths and weaknesses and how my behavior contributes to broken relationships.
• Remain teachable so I continue to grow past the disappointment of a loss.
• Be self-centered enough to focus on the responsibility of defining my life.

Leaving With My Marbles is a story about laughing and crying my way through break-ups, unfulfilling jobs, and dangerous liaisons. In the process, I learned to extract myself without taking bitterness, self-doubt, or anger into my future.
