It deals mainly with the victims and what the issues are. Mainly, how to get out. The abuser is also discussed with the view that the abuser should realized fault and how anger develops. Children are the helpless victims because they don't understand and they don't have the options that the person being abused does. "Prevention?" Yes, this publication can prevent it if it is followed correctly but the author is not about to assume that it is a cure-all. Main emphasis is for the victims to get out. This option is explained to the abuser, too. If he or she won't grasp fault and/or cause, they are told that the persons they are trying to control should leave immediately.
