Fuck You I Love You is about abuse and growth. It's about being both abused and abusive because we all have been. It's about loving someone so much but not being able to convey those emotions properly and being too emotional to understand the logic of a situation. It's about dreams and reality, sorting through those tough times of desperately wanting to be IN love but realizing that maybe the love you have found is not the one you need. Or the one your partner needs. I haven't been the best partner or friend. I've made so many mistakes, missteps and been flat out shitty…and despite what it might look like on the outside, the regret of that eats at me. I'd like to think I have learned, grown and improved and that the future looks a little brighter for me, my kids and my partner.
