This book provides legal analysis of the multilateral liberalisation of the air transport industry in Africa within the framework of the African Union Agenda 2063 initiative, the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM).

Offering a detailed examination of the regulatory framework and policy considerations that have shaped the political economy of air transport in Africa, the book offers a comparative analysis with the European Union (EU) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
