Plots & Tension is the second module in a series called 'Fiction Writers Workbook'. The first book in the series is 'Creating Characters'.
This modules covers plotting, themes, subplots, conflict, how to build tension, dealing with climaxes and starting on a short story.
There are multiple exercises throughout each of these sections to give a writer experience in dealing with plotting, conflict and tension in his/her writing.
By the end of this module the bones of a short story will be in place as long as all the exercises have been done.
The Fiction Writers Workbook is an eBook adaption of Create and Craft Tall Stories. This book evolve from notes I used in my Fiction Writing classes held over several years and adapted continually to meet the specific needs I found students faced, especially in dealing with conflict and tension.
