"When the network fails, communication finds another way." The MeshCore project analyzes the limitations of centralized networks — vulnerable and expensive — and proposes mesh networks as a decentralized and resilient alternative. Based on low-cost hardware (ESP32 and LoRa), the system uses intelligent routing, error detection, and peer-to-peer message prioritization. The project is written in English for the scientific community and translated into Italian. In situations such as emergencies, natural disasters, censorship under pseudo-totalitarian regimes, or remote connectivity in disadvantaged areas, traditional networks can be replaced by low-cost peer-to-peer Mesh Networks. My project explores this emerging frontier and implements technical improvements for future development.
