Army Regulation AR 600-8-22 Personnel-General Military Awards March 2019

This regulation, Army Regulation AR 600-8-22 Personnel-General Military Awards March 2019, provides Department of the Army policy, criteria, and administrative instructions concerning individual military decorations, Army Good Conduct Medals, service medals and ribbons, combat and special skill badges and tabs, unit decorations, trophies, and similar devices awarded in recognition of accomplishments. It prescribes the policies and procedures concerning U.S. Army awards to foreign military personnel and foreign decorations to U.S. Army personnel.

This regulation applies to the Regular Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve, unless otherwise stated. It also applies to retired military personnel of all branches, foreign military personnel, and Department of Defense Civilians, as indicated.
