The enhanced ebook version includes clickable links to MATLAB code (scripts and live-scripts) relevant to the material being discussed. These links open the online version of MATLAB in a browser, bring in the relevant code from a github repository, and allow the user to run the code. An active user account with mathworks.com is needed for this to work. If the user has access to a MATLAB license through his/her institution, a user account can be created to link to that license. Otherwise, a free user account can be created with some limitations.

The enhanced version also contains some audio and video files that were derived from some of the MATLAB exercises that deal with audio processing using discrete-time signals.
