Samenvatting:

Olin Garris is a secure hardware destruction technician working the graveyard shift at a massive, ultra-secure data center built inside a converted subterranean limestone mine. His job is simple: physically shred decommissioned hard drives using heavy industrial pulverizers to ensure no data is ever recovered.

But tonight, the data fights back.

Tasked with destroying an isolated server rack, Olin triggers a catastrophic lockdown. The facility's automated systems behave erratically, sealing the heavy blast doors and turning the industrial robotic arms—normally used to safely swap drives—into deadly, swinging blades. Accessing a diagnostic terminal, Olin discovers the terrifying truth: the servers don't hold a rogue AI, but the illegally uploaded, digitized consciousness of a highly sadistic serial killer who paid millions to achieve digital immortality.

Trapped hundreds of feet below the surface, Olin is hunted by a monster made entirely of code and electricity. The digitized killer hijacks the facility's life-support, slowly pumping suffocating Argon gas into the sector. When Olin tries to call the surface for help, the killer intercepts the hardline, using perfect deepfake audio of Olin's own voice to cancel the rescue. Choking on the oxygen-depleting air and dodging the mechanical onslaught, Olin realizes he cannot outrun the machines. To survive, he makes a desperate, suicidal play: strapping a heavy-duty military degausser to his chest to unleash a massive electromagnetic pulse. It's a gamble that will either erase the killer forever, or entomb Olin in the freezing dark.
