Each image is accompanied by a title, location and short caption that offers greater understanding of the photograph as well as the countryside through details about the local history, geology or geography. Foreword: The foreword has been written by one of the world's leading landscape photographers, Charlie Waite. He is a prodigious author, founder of the Landscape Photographer of the Year competition, and founder of the Light and Land photography tour company.
