Facel-Vega was a French car manufacturer from 1954 to 1964, created by Jean Daninos.
The first model of the company, the Vega was introduced at the Paris Auto Show in 1954 and was instantly acclaimed worldwide.
Except perhaps the Citroën SM, no French car has made so much impression.
The Facel Vega was expensive and very exclusive, but they sold well, especially among movie stars.
Facel Vega has attracted well-known owners and celebrities such as : Pablo Picasso, Ava Gardner, Ringo Starr ....
Despite its initial success, the company failed after the start of the Facellia model.
