Chasing Enough

You don’t have to burn out to prove your worth.

Do you ever feel like no matter how much you accomplish, it’s never enough? In a world of endless notifications, blurred boundaries, and curated lives lived in public, the bar for what it means to be “successful” keeps rising, while our energy, joy, and fulfillment quietly erode. In Chasing Enough, award-winning entrepreneur and leadership advisor Mandy Balak offers a radical new model for achieving success and becoming the kind of leader—and human—who thrives from within.

For fans of Essentialism, The Gap and the Gain, and Untamed, Chasing Enough is a timeless guide to leading, living, and succeeding from wholeness rather than hustle. Through honest storytelling, modern psychology, and her proven Well-Resourced Method, Balak dismantles the myth that your worth is earned through effort and helps readers come home to a success that finally feels like enough.

This isn't another burnout manifesto or productivity hack. It's a deeply personal guide to breaking free from your internalized “never enough” narratives and stepping into confidence and fulfillment. Readers will learn to

- break the “Yes Trap” and set boundaries that empower;
- separate identity from achievement;
- reclaim rest as a leadership strategy;
- lead from sufficiency, not scarcity; and
- cultivate the eight qualities of the Well-Resourced Leader: grounded, rested, calm, integrated, present, curious, resourced, and vital.

In a culture that glorifies overwork, perfectionism, and achievement, high-performing leaders are beginning to ask a deeper question: Who am I without the hustle? For ambitious doers and over-givers, Chasing Enough is your invitation to slow down without losing your edge—and to build a life that’s not just high-performing but deeply fulfilling.
